Emily Grzelakowsk
Emily holds a masters degree in clinical social work from the University of Chicago. Emily is a licensed clinical social worker and her therapy experience includes: Lurie Children's Hospital, Wellspring Weight Loss Camps, Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (formerly RIC), and most recently Compass Health Center's partial hospitalization program where Emily was a family therapist with patients aging from 8 – 60-years-old. She maintains her private practice in Hindsdale, a western suburb of Chicago, and raises four young children.
Emily currently works with adolescents and adults. Emily has completed Level 1 & 2 of Gottman's Method of Couples Therapy and has completed training in Bringing the Baby Home and The 7 Principles for Making Marriages Work through The Gottman Institute. Additionally, Emily has an interest in working with postpartum depression and she completed certificate training in Maternal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International (PSI), and is a member of PSI.
